What are people saying about the Northern Woodlands Conference?

If you are a chronicler, an observer, a lover of natural history, culture and recreation in our northern forest, there is no better event to attend if you desire to be in like-minded company. The diversity of interests and approaches to supporting, preserving, enhancing, exploring and celebrating our woodlands was astounding and I came away from the event invigorated and renewed in my desire to do all I can to support activities that promote the northern forest community. - L. van Handel

This is a conference that I look forward to each year. The participants and presenters are wonderful. There is sharing amongst everyone which is great. -Anon.

An oasis of practical teaching and inspiration! Worth the drive (4.5 hours). -Jill Allen, writer/teacher from NYS

There is no dollar value I could place on the experiences I have at the Northern Woodlands Conference because they're priceless. The connections that are forged, friendships made, and information shared, without a doubt, have made me a more effective nature writer. I've attended all three years and look forward to next year. - Tanya Sousa, author of "The Starling God"
